• Be cautious of overpayment, “agent” stories, or requests for refunds.
• If something feels off, pause and verify before paying.

Avoid common scams

• Requests to move the conversation to unfamiliar apps immediately.
• Sellers refusing to provide additional photos/video proof.
• Deals that are “too good to be true” or high‑pressure deadlines.

Inspect items

• Verify the item matches the listing and test functionality before handing over payment.
• Ask for receipts/warranty details when relevant.

Reporting

If you suspect fraud, harassment, or unsafe behavior:

• Stop the interaction.
• Collect relevant details (messages, listing link, usernames).
• Report the user/listing through the app and contact support via the Contact page.
